Using Advanced Search on Netlog

Χρησιμοποιώντας τη σύνθετη αναζήτηση στο Netlog 

Ακολουθήστε τα εξής βήματα:

Συνδεθείτε στο Netlog λογαριασμό σας (εισάγετε το ψευδώνυμο και τον κωδικό πρόσβασής σας εδώ)
Κάντε κλικ στο
"Ψαχτήρι" και μετά στο "Προφίλ"
  
Στα δεξιά δεξιά θα βρείτε την καρτέλλα 'Advanced search'



- κάντε κλίκ και σας μεταφέρει σε μια σελίδα με πολλά προφίλ, όπου κάτω δεξιά θα δείτε τα φίλτρα αναζήτησης, τα οποία προσαρμόζετε στα δικά σας μέτρα


Επιλέξτε φύλο, ηλικία, θέση, κατάσταση, δίκτυο και κάντε κλικ στο "Εφαρμογή φίλτρου αναζήτησης". Μπορείτε επίσης να εφαρμόσετε φίλτρα, όπως ενδιαφέροντα, παιδιά, μάτια, μαλλιά, σχολείο, μουσική και πολλά άλλα, όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στην παραπάνω εικόνα

To use Netlog's advanced search, follow these steps:

Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password here )
Click on 'Profiles' in 'Explore'
On the right, there's a tab 'Advanced search' - click on it and you will be redirected to page with many profiles, and down right you will see the search filters, which you can adjust to your preferences

Choose sex, age, location, status, network and click "apply search filter". You can also apply filters like interests, kids, eyes, hair, school, music and more as you can see in the picture above

How can I log out

Στην πάνω δεξιά γωνία, κάτω απο ψευδώνυμό και την κατάστασή σας σας και δίπλα απο την φωτογραφία σας, θα βρείτε το "έξοδος". Κάντε κλικ για να αποσυνδεθείτε από το Netlog.



In the top right corner, below your nickname & status and next to your profile photo, you will find the 'log out' link. Click it to log out of Netlog.

uninstall the Music Tool

To uninstall Music Tool, follow these steps:

On Windows:
-Go to Start
-Click 'Program'
-Select 'Music Tool'
-Click 'Uninstall'
-Follow the instructions

On Mac:
-Close Music Tool
-Go to 'Applications' or to the folder where your Music Tool is located
-Drag Music Tool to your trash can
-Empty your trash can

change my privacy settings

Netlog offers you a set of privacy settings. Now you have absolute control over who can visit your profile, who can comment on your items, how you wish to be found, etc. You can also choose to read and approve all the comments before they are posted on your profile.

To change your privacy settings, follow these steps:

-Log in on your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click 'Privacy'
-Change the settings you prefer in the overview

To delete someone from your whitelist, follow these steps:

-Log in on your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click 'Privacy' in the submenu
-Click on 'Whitelist'
-Click on the grey cross next to the name of the person you want to delete from your whitelist

To edit your time zone, follow these steps:

-Log in on your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click on 'Display' in the submenu
-Click on 'Time Zone' in the tabs
-Choose your time zone
-Click on 'Apply'
-Your time zone has been changed

To unsubscribe from a Netlog mailing, follow these steps:

-Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click on 'E-mail' in the submenu
-Choose the mails you want to receive from Netlog
-Don't forget to save your settings

To edit your e-mail address, follow these steps:

-Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click on 'E-mail' in the submenu
-Go to 'Manage e-mail addresses'
-Click 'Enter a new e-mail address'
-Follow the given instructions to change your e-mail address

-Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click on 'Account' in the submenu
-Enter your new nickname and hit the 'Change nickname' button

activate Super! on my account

Follow these steps to activate Super! on your account:

-Click on 'Settings' in the top menu
-Click on 'Account' in the submenu
-Click on the tab 'Netlog Super'
-Choose for how long you would like to have your Super! active. Credits (not spotlights) are used for the activation of Super. You can activate your Super! for 1 month or 1 year.
-Pay, and you're Super! Piece of cake, isn't it?

Super! expires

Enough credits left? No need to worry then: your Super! subscription is automatically prolonged at the end of your subscription period. You don't have enough credits left? Oh no, your Super!powers might expire! To prevent this from happening, Netlog will notify you in time, so you can buy some extra credits.

get credits

To obtain credits, follow these steps:

-Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click 'Settings' on the top right
-Click 'Credits'
-You can buy credits by calling from your land line or your mobile phone, by texting, by using your Paypal account, or any of the other payment options Netlog is providing. You can also earn them by participating in one of our partner actions or by inviting friends to join Netlog.

You can also use the shortcut in the top menu to check your credits or buy more. Just hit the icon that says ‘Credits’. Don’t have that icon in your shortcuts? Hit the + next to your shortcuts and add the credits icon to your shortcuts.

What are credits

Credits are the currency on Netlog. Among others, credits will be used to pay for applications and games. Much more will come soon! You can also use them to put your profile in the Spotlight if you ran out of spotlights.
You can buy credits by your cell phone, your landline, your credit/bank card, Paypal or your favourite e-wallet. It is also possible to get them free by inviting your friends. Please, note that your friends have to activate Trust before you are granted the credits. Trust activation is free.

spotlights and credits

Credits and spotlights are two different currencies on Netlog. Among others, credits will be used to pay for applications. Much more will come soon! Spotlights, on the other hand, are used to put you in the limelight. You can use them to put your profile in the Spotlight on the homepage in order to popularize your profile.
If you want more credits, you can get them free by inviting your friends to Netlog. Otherwise, you can buy them by sending an SMS or calling from your landline.
You cannot purchase new spotlights. If you ran out of spotlights, you can buy credits and use them to Spotlight your profile.

I've invited some friends, they registered, but I didn't get my credits

Credits are only awarded to you when the friends you invited register on their own PC, with their own internet connection and browser and when their registration is followed by a Trust activation (free of charge).

Your friends have to actually register at Netlog using the invitation link in the e-mail that was sent to them in order for the credits to be given. If you have any confirmation that these friends have registered, then send us the nickname(s) of the user(s) for which you did not get credits, and we can investigate whether to issue them to you manually.

Note that you do not get credits from 'adding' friends. You must invite people that do not yet have a Netlog account in order to get free credits.

To invite a friend, follow these steps:

-Log into your Netlog account (enter your nickname and password)
-Click on 'Friends' in the top menu
-Click on 'FriendFinder' in the submenu
-Choose how you want to invite your friends (using the contact list of one of your e-mail addresses or inviting your friends manually, by their e-mail addresses)
-Follow the steps

I sent an SMS/text and it doesn't work

Please doublecheck the SMS/text messaging history of your mobile phone. Be sure that the alphanumeric code in your phone appears EXACTLY as it does on the website. Pay attention to capital letters and all spaces between digits and letters in the code. Also make sure that the number that you sent the message to is correct. Once you have sent the SMS please remain patient. It may take some time to process your message if there is a lot of mobile network traffic.

If you haven't received a text message from us upon sending your text message, you probably don't have enough credit left on your mobile to receive our premium text message. This means that you did not pay Netlog for the credits, so you do not receive them.

If you think there might be some technical problem, contact the Helpdesk. Please make sure to indicate clearly the problem, and to add all useful information: exact date and time, message sent, number the message was sent to, your mobile phone number, your provider, whether you have received a text message from Netlog. If you did receive a text message, we also want to know the sender, the date + time and the exact text of the message. If you did not receive a text from us, please check if you have enough credit left on your mobile.
