Το Google παρακολουθεί αναμφισβήτητα περισσότερο σε απευθείας σύνδεση χρήστες από οποιοδήποτε άλλο φορέα. Το Web γίγαντα αναζήτησης δεν είναι μόνο κατέχει και διαχειρίζεται το DoubleClick σύστημα προβολής διαφημίσεων, αλλά και οι εταίροι με τα εκατομμύρια των χώρων για την εξυπηρέτηση διαφημίσεων Google δίπλα στο περιεχόμενο.

Με άλλα λόγια, η Google έχει σας παρακάτω για μια στιγμή. Όμως, τα τελευταία χρόνια, η Google ξεκίνησε ένας τρόπος για τους χρήστες του να δουν ακριβώς πώς το προφίλ ιστοσελίδα τους, για να στοχεύσει τη διαφήμιση. Αυτό ονομάζεται Google Προτιμήσεις διαφήμισης (www .google.com / ads / preferences). Το site θα σας δείξει τις κατηγορίες περιεχομένου Google σας έχει επισημάνει με.

Google arguably tracks more online users than any other entity. The Web search giant not only owns and runs the DoubleClick ad serving system but also partners with millions of sites to serve Google ads next to content.

In other words, Google has been following you for a while. But, in  recent years, Google initiated a way for its users to see exactly how the site profiles them in order to target advertising. This is called Google Ad  Preferences (www .google.com/ads/preferences). The site will show you the content categories Google has tagged you with.

It even lets you  remove or add interest categories. You can also just opt-out altogether. Microsoft and Yahoo! offer similar  capabilities. Yahoo! calls its tool Ad  Interest Manager (info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/opt_out/targeting/details.html). And Microsoft Advertising’s controls are located at choice.live.com/advertisementchoice.

To enable JavaScript, follow these steps:

If you use Internet Explorer (version 7.0 or 8.0)
- Select 'Tools' from the main menu.
- Select 'Internet options'
- Click the 'Security' tab
- Click the 'Custom level' button
- Scroll down to 'Scripting'
- Select Enable for Active Scripting and Scripting of Java Applets.
- Click 'OK'

If you use Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0)
- Select 'Tools' from the main menu (for Windows) or ‘Firefox’ (for Mac)
- Choose 'Options' (for Windows) or ‘Preferences’ (for Mac)
- Click 'Content' in the upper navigation field.
- Tick 'Enable JavaScript'
- Click 'OK'

If you use Apple Safari (version 4.0)
- Click the 'Safari' menu.
- Select 'Preferences'
- Select 'Security'
- Select 'Enable JavaScript'

If you use Google Chrome:
- Click 'Options' in the upper right corner (for Widows) or select ‘Preferences’ from the ‘Chrome’ menu (for Mac)
- Select the 'Under the Hood' tab
- Click 'Content Settings...' under 'Privacy'
- Select the 'JavaScript' tab
- Choose 'Allow all sites to run Java Script'
- Click 'Close'

If you use Opera 9.xx series:
- Select 'Preferences' from the Tools menu
- Click 'Content' in the Preferences list
- Check 'Enable JavaScript'
- Click 'Close'

Πού είναι το κουμπί ανανέωσης σελίδας στον Mozilla Firefox 4

Και εμένα η πρώτη μου απορία ήταν αυτή ! Το βρήκα όμως πολύ γρήγορα όταν πήγα να τον διαμορφώσω. Έχουν ενσωματωθεί στην μπάρα διευθύνσεων στο τέλος.

My first question also was that! I found it easy, when I went to setup my browser. The buttons have been incorporated at the end of the address bar. 

Πηγαίνουμε στην προβολή, εργαλειοθήκες, προσαρμογή - όταν ανοίξει το παράθυρο θα δείτε και το κουμπί ανανέωσης και το κουμπί ακύρωσης στο τέλος της μπάρας των διευθύνσεων να ξεχωρίζουν -

πατήστε πάνω τους και μεταφέρτε τα πριν την αρχή την μπάρας, στα υπόλοιπα κουμπιά, στην θέση που θέλετε εσείς και πατήστε ολοκληρώθηκε.

So go to View, toolbars, customization - when the window opens you will see the refresh button and the cancel button at the end of the address bar to stand out -  

click on them, move them before the beginning of the bar, and paste them where your other buttons are, to the place you want and click done.

Τώρα βλέπετε μόνο το κουμπί της ανανέωσης στα κουμπιά σας. Όταν θα ανοίξετε όμως μία καρτέλλα που φορτώνει η σελίδα, αυτόματα το κουμπί γίνεται της ακύρωσης !

Now you see only the refresh button on your buttons. But when you open a tab in which a page is loading, this button turns to cancellation !

Αν θέλετε να τεστάρετε αν ο υπολογιστής σας "σηκώνει" τα windows 7, μπορείτε να πάτε σε αυτή την σελίδα να κατεβάσετε το Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor και μέσω του περιηγητή σας να τα "φορέσετε" και να δείτε το αποτέλεσμα ! Διαλέξτε την γλώσσα, ακόμα σε ελληνικά δεν υπάρχει, υπάρχει όμως στα αγγλικά !

Κατεβάστε και τρέξτε Windows7UpgradeAdvisorSetup.exe για να γίνει εγκατάσταση. Εάν το PC σας τρέχει τα Windows XP, το πρόγραμμα Εγκατάστασης θα βεβαιωθεί αν το NET Framework 2.0 είναι εγκατεστημένο. Αν δεν βρεθεί, το πρόγραμμα Εγκατάστασης θα σας βοηθήσει να το εγκαταστήσετε.

Επιλέξτε το κείμενο και αυτομάτως αντιγράφεται στο πρόχειρο. Όπως στα Linux ή το mIRC, που σημαίνει ότι εσείς δεν χρειάζεται να κάντε δεξί κλικ με το ποντίκι σας πάνω από το μπλοκαρισμένο / σημειωμένο κείμενο και να κάνετε κλικ στην αντιγραφή

Ctrl + F

Πατώντας Ctrl + F (πατημένα ταυτοχρόνως), ανοίγει ένα παράθυρο αναζήτησης στον περιηγητή σας, που σας βοηθάει να βρείτε σε όποιο παράθυρο έχετε ανοιχτό, μια λέξη για πιθανή διόρθωση ή αντίκατάσταση, σε κείμενο, κώδικα κτλ που επεξεργαζόσασταν.

Γράψτε ή επικολλήστε στο κουτάκι την λέξη που θέλετε, πατήστε enter και σας κατευθύνέι αυτόματα στην λέξη εκείνη. Πατώντας ακόμα μία φορά σας πάει στην αμέσως επόμενη, εάν υπάρχει, και επαναλάβετε για όσες φορές χρειαστεί.

Μειώστε το μέγεθος της RAM που χρησιμοποιεί ο Firefox για το cache.
Decrease the size of RAM used by Firefox for cache

Πληκτρολογήστε “about:config” (χωρίς τα εισαγωγικά) στην  address bar του browser και πατήστε Enter.

Κάντε Δεξί Click οπουδήποτε στο παράθυρο και επιλέξτε New Boolean. Στο κουτί που θα εμφανιστεί επικολλήστε αυτό “config.trim_on_minimize” και πατήστε Enter. Τώρα επιλέξτε True και πατήστε Enter.

Right click anywhere on that window and choose New Boolean. Inside the box appearing paste this “config.trim_on_minimize” and press Enter. Now choose True and press Enter.

Επανεκκινήστε τον Mozilla

Restart Mozilla.

Σημειώστε: Αν κάποια απο τις περιμέτρους που σας δίνω παραπάνω δεν τις βρήτε προσθέστε τις εσείς κάνοντας δεξί κλικ οπουδήποτε στο παράθυρο, και επιλέξτε New Integer, ονομάστε την (π.χ. nglayout.initialpaint.delay) και βάλτε την αξία της (πχ 5) και πατήστε enter.
Αν κάποια απο αυτές που σας δίνουμε τις βρήτε ακριβώς όπως τις δίνω, απλά προχωρήστε στην επόμενη !

Note: If some of the parameters I gave you above can't find them, add them yourself by clicking anywhere on that window, choose New Integer, name it (eg nglayout.initialpaint.delay) and input the value (eg 5) and press enter.
If some of the given are exactly like the given ones, just go to the next one !

What to do when a game doesn't load

1) Σιγουρευτείτε ότι χρησιμοποιείτε την τελευταία έκδοση του περιηγητή σας. Κατεβάστε τις πιο πρόσφατες ενημερώσεις για τις επεκτάσεις και τα πρόσθετά του.

2) Σιγουρευτείτε ότι χρησιμοποιείτε την τελευταία έκδοση του Adobe Flash Player. Αν όχι, να το κατεβάσετε δωρεάν εδώ

3)Κάντε εκκαθάριση ιστορικού του περιηγητή

Κάντε δεξί κλικ πάνω στο παιχνίδι που παίζετε την δεδομένη στιγμή - και κάντε το ίδιο όταν επισκευτείτε και τα άλλα - κάντε κλικ στις Ρυθμίσεις, Αύξηση αποθήκευσης και βάλτε 10MB

Zoom in Zoom out Webpages with Keyboard

Μεγενθύνετε τις ιστοσελίδες που διαβάζετε με το πληκτρολόγιο.

Είτε κάποιες φορές δεν βλέπετεε να διαβάσετε μια ιστοσελίδα στο διαδύκτιο, γιατί τα γράμματά της είναι πολύ μικρά, είτε κάποιες φορές απο τον σχεδιασμό της είναι πολύ μεγάλη, και για να χωρέσει στην οθόνη μας, αναγκαστικά σέρνετε την μπάρα, που εμφανίζεται κάτω στον περιηγητή σας, δεξιά και αριστερά για να την δείτε ολόκληρη.όπως φαίνεται στην εικόνα παρακάτω :

Στο πληκτρολόγιό σας πατήστε και κρατήστε πατημένο το Control (Ctrl)  και τώρα πατήστε το πλήκτρο με το ( + ) ή το ( - ), όσες φορές χρειάζεται για να σας ικανοποιήσει το αποτέλεσμα, είτε πρόκειται για μεγένθυση είτε για σμίκρυνση !
