Getting ready to use Google Talk

Download Google Talk, and start calling and chatting with your friends, right from your computer.
Already have a Google Account?
If you have a Google Account, all you need to do is download Google Talk. Once you've got the client installed on your computer, sign in to talk to your friends (you may be prompted to sign up for a Google Talk username, if your Google Account doesn't have Gmail). You can also invite friends to talk to you.
No Google Account?
No problem! You can create a new Google Account, and then download Google Talk.
Google Talk auto-updates, so once you install it, you don't have to do anything to get the latest version. If you'd like to manually check for updates, right-click the Google Talk icon in your system tray, and select 'Check for Updates Now.'
